In the upper right (next to the Restore/Minimize button) is a down arrow. Click that to expand the menu, and then click Preferences. That should give you a list of columns, and just remove the Option column from the "Selected columns" list. Apply & OK, then you should be good.

I've always used the object table myself using the IBM i Editing perspective first put together by SoftLanding Systems.

So, now how do I get rid of the option column? I can't get it to go away!
