Thanks David,

tried editing the eclipse.ini but this did not help. The installation
was run using userinstc (hint from IBM team) and seems to have finished,
but now Eclipse is asking for Java SE6...

IIRC the eclipse.app wouldn’t launch so I had to tweak the eclipse.ini file
so it used a different configuration directory.
