Here are the instructions for installing on Catalina.

Run using the Userinst (user install).
Only use the Installation Manager in the zip downloaded from the trial page (IM version 1.8.9.4).
If you've tried in the past and had the checkbox set to find other updates, you may have the unsupported version of Installation Manager.
