Your response was both helpful and not. The "not" part is not due to the explanation, but in my hopes, wishes, desires and dreams.
I understand that it doesn't function the way that I believe that it should. It seems that other emulators do have such a feature.
My HOPE was that there was a preference I was missing. My WISH is that it were possible. My DESIRE is that it will eventually. My DREAM is that it will be before I retire.
(Sorry for the late response. I was actually working so hard that I forgot I asked the question.)

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Double-left-click mouse event on Host Connection
Hi Duane,
If you are talking about RDi's Host Connection Emulator (the 5250 emulator), you need to "select" the word or phrase you want.
Double click does not work.
Place the cursor (mouse) in the far left upper corner of the word, then hold the left mouse button down and drag your cursor to the bottom end of the word or phrase you wish to select, then right click and select copy.
Hope this helps!
Steve Ferrell

I'm missing something somewhere (probably-definitely).
I would like the host connection to select the word where the cursor is focused when the mouse is double-left-clicked. Works on other emulators, but in RDi I cannot discover how to "make it so".
Am I saying it well enough to be understood?
Can anybody help me?
I do as much as I can through RDi and this is one thing that bugs me about not being able to get it working. Not the ONLY thing, but the one that I would like to see working now.
Duane
