Thanks for this clarification, I was mistaken , we don't use the offline verificators.

I was afraid to leave my beloved Ubuntu to use RDI 🙂

Hi Damien,

Mac OS doesn't have the off-line program verification or syntax checker in version 9.6. Only Windows and Linux currently have them in 9.6.

IBM is dropping the support for off-line Linux Program Verifier, but we will continue to improve the live parser to flag errors so users won't need to invoke the program verifier.

RDi will continue to have online syntax checking for all supported OS level, but only Windows 64 bit will continue to allow off-line Program Verification.

Also, if you use the off-line Program Verifier today in Linux, now is the time to let IBM know you value it.

Mac OSX is unclear as only linux deprecation is mentioned , but only Windows will be supported

We are 3 developpers with Mac or Linux , no windows...
RDI will be prety useless without syntax checking...
