Hi Darryl

I think I have something that should help - the help for RDi is the place to look. I don't know about finding it in a Knowledge Center, but you can get to it, of course, from RDi itself. So open RDi and click on the Help menu. In there go to Help Contents. When I do that, it opens to an open tree for Rational Developer fo i 9.6.0. In there, look for a section called Installing. Open that and look for an item call Activating your product - I see a plus sign next to that, so open that up. I also just clicked on Activating your product to start - there's a link there with more info on licenses.

I don't know if it tells you which kind of license you have - maybe if you look at Installation Manager as suggested, you'll see something about floating vs authorized.

Good luck! Someone at your company should have a receipt. Or did they order using Passport Advantage? I think that trail gets you notification emails or letters - don't know.

I am trying to find out what type of licenses we have. IBM is not very good
at helping track this info down.
