Yes, do it all the time - in both directions. (One of the neat tricks RDi has up its sleeve; especially if you need to copy source between IBM i servers.)
You <may> find you need to use Copy/Paste from the appropriate context menus if the keyboard shortcuts of Ctrl C/V don't work.

- Navigate LOCAL>LOCAL FILES>DRIVES> etc. etc. to find your file
- Copy your file
- Navigate your IBM i connection to locate the desired PF-SRC
- Paste your file

Aside: If this is something you need to do regularly, consider the iProjects perspective in RDi.
