Subject: [WDSCI-L] IFS file copy performance

Folks:

Does anyone have suggestions on how to improve the performance of copying a file from the local file system to the IFS?

I've got an 8mb jar file that I've had to copy a number of times and, when I use RDi to copy it, it takes 4-5 minutes each time.

If I use iACS's IFS GUI to copy the file, it takes 3-5 seconds to start, but finishes within about 7 seconds.

Thanks!

David
