Hey David!

So, um, there was a change in the default settings between RDI 9.6 and RDI 9.8 but you can put it back ….

Go to the Error List view and click on the menu icon (three vertical dots) then select
Automatically Insert > Into open members & files
and select
Message > Insert selected only

IIRC the cursor is supposed to be positioned to the first message, so changing the settings should make things faster (inserting everything into all members is incredibly slow) and the cursor should also calm down.

Mike

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [WDSCI-L] Cursor jumping after compile?

Folks:

Anyone else noticing the cursor, in LPEX, will jump to another position in
the source after a compile completes and the event file contents are
displayed?

Sometimes the cursor will jump and text will be selected.

Thanks!

david
