If you can generate the pdf file, (and there are plenty of free or low cost
utilities to do that on the 400 - see midrange-l), then you could send an
email from the 400 with that as an attachment. One favored utility is
SENDEMAIL by David Leland. Currently downloadable from NEWS/400's website.
I am not sure which version is there. I am using a version which works
quite well with attachments. Basically uses the api QtmmSendMail with some
gyrations to get the attachments working.

Here is my proposed scenario:
On demand from a web page I would like provide the user the ability to
generate a PDF file that would be e-mail to them rather than providing them
a
link to the location of the PDF.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the e-mail portion of the task?
examples,
prior discussions, etc.....
