what's the database for ? What are you trying to achieve ?

I have some programs built on the spool file API's that create "a database" 
but without knowing what you want to do I don't know whether they have the 
information you want.

I seem to remember that you can just do a WRKOUTQ to an outfile (it's been 
a while since I've had to do this) so depending on the time and frrequency 
you have to do whatever it is you have to do this may provide a quick solution.
