Have you checked the memory fault level of the memory pool these jobs are
running in?

My guess is that they are still running in the *BASE memory pool.....If the
fault level is high, change the SBSD to use a dedicated pool.

Not much you can do but upgrade your As/400.

When it's acting slow, check out the websphere jobs. you'll see applications
running at 95%+ cpu for that entire time.

I keep hearing NT version of websphere is fast. Then how can the AS/400 be so
slow. I just don't get it.

Subject: WebSphere Console and Speed issues?

 Hi,

Does anybody know how to speed up the WebSphere admin console when connecting
to a WebSphere server running on an AS400?

We have used the console on an NT box connecting to a NT WebSphere server
with great speed but when we try and access our AS400 the speed is terrible.

 Any ideas? Tweaks?
