I am trying to setup WebSphere Application Server 3.5.3 using the iSeries
Apache HTTP server. I am running V5R1 and used a Wizard to setup the Apache
server. The QEJBADMIN server seems to be running correctly and my named
Apache HTTP instance seems to be running correctly. However, when I try to
test the application by calling up the Hello servlet, my browser just seems
to hang up. According to the instructions I have been using,
http://drme2:900/servlet/hello is supposed to bring up the Hello servlet,
but it doesn't. Browser looks like it is looking up the servlet, but
nothing shows up.

The instructions I have been following are for using the Original HTTP
server, not the Apache server. There is a discussion on configuring the
original HTTP server to work with WebSphere to process servlets and JSPs,
but when I go into the Apache Admin server, I don't see anything similar
and can't seem to find any good info on setup for the Apache server.

I can not get at the WAS examples either.
http://drme2:900/WSsamples/index.html just sits there, although browser
says Website found, waiting for reply.

http://drme2 brings up the default home page for the server no problem.

Any ideas or suggestions? What am I missing?

Thanks in advance.
