I seem to recall one recent estimate of 50,000 OS/400 systems running an
HTTP server instance.  I seem to recall the source being credible.  But I
don't remember the publication.  I wish I could remember.

But "web services" is the term being used to describe "universal directory"
(UDDI) type services.  Web applications that are designed to interface with
a UDDI server.  That's why I gave a reference to the IBM alphaworks site.
