Depends on what you mean by "copy the file to the AS/400"

You could do an ftp to anyplace on the AS/400,
Now if you want to go to the IFS, that will take a little more finesse,
you would still do the ftp, but then you would have to issue the copy to
stream file command
in your cgi program too.

With regards to FTP; if(I should say because OF your firewall) you will have
to open up the
port, and direct it to only your AS/400, then I strongly urge you to get an
exit program
written so you can control what/where the ftp will function.

And from there you should be good to go - we here have two customers using
FTP to send orders
to us already; however we take the files into an AS/400 database directly to
work with them.

Our customers want to be able to upload an order file (.csv).
I have an rpg/cgi site. Is there a simple  way to allow them to do this?
site currently has no Net.data or Java, but will consider.
Very unsophisticated users. Currently emailing, but lawyers no
require us to force them to click thru a legal page to send orders by file.
