Hi Phil,

The problem is that there are a total of 974 fields after all that joining.
After some testing, it appears that if I do it like this:

    SELECT a.PERSON1 as "a.PERSON1",
           a.PERSON2 as "a.PERSON2",
           b.PERSON  as "b.PERSON",
           c.PERSON  as "c.PERSON"
        FROM GROUP as A JOIN PEOPLE as b ON a.PERSON1 = b.PERSON
                        JOIN PEOPLE as c ON a.PERSON2 = c.PERSON

then I can refer to the fields as $(V_b.PERSON) instead of $(V3), which is
the way *I* think I should be able to refer to it in the first place.  I
used a Net.Data macro to generate the field names, then copied & pasted the
results back into the macro so I didn't have to key them all.

Once I've finished the design and know which fields I'll be using, I can
eliminate the unused fields.
