I'm looking for a way to determine the surfer's language to present
contents in this language.

I know that browsers are sending e.g.

accept-language:en

in their header.

The environment variable "HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE" seems to hold this
information, but it says at
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/html/as400/v5r1/ic2924/index.htm?info/rzaie/rzaienonsslev.htm
that this info is only available via Server API.

I've read the .pdf "HTTP Server for iSeries Web Programming Guide (GC41-5435)"
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/html/as400/v5r1/ic2924/info/rzaie/rzag3mst.pdf#API
and don't know whether that's a good idea.

Did anybody something similar?
In RPG?
Is this environment variable (or even better: all variables) available via
other means?

We are at V4R5 and use the original HTTP server.

Thanks in advance for your 0.02 of whatever currency! :-)
