It is, more or less, but this is something new and the catalog has been
around for a LONG time, contains much more information than the Item Master
record, etc.

Yes, the MAC is on the same network and the question we are looking at now
is does PageMaker store a page as an ENTIRE page or does it store it with
links to the images...

And then also, is there a plug in to PageMaker for cataloging all this
stuff.

We are contacting Adobe on this after an extensive brainstorming session
just now :-)

It sounded like your "Item Master" file would be the catalog of the images.
Are you looking for a better alternative?

Is your Mac on the same network as your Web server?  How about saving the
image files in JPEG format in a directory that is accessible from your HTTP
server, then updating the Item Master record?

Then write a program to dynamically plug the URL reference into the Web page
prior to serving it?
