You might try searching the archives and looking for "installing Tomcat",
but I can point you directly to the best article written on the subject

David Morris did an incredible job with this article.  The point is that
standalone Apache comes with its own built-in HTTP server, so there's no
issues about configuring IBM's HTTP server.
