Hello Peter,

You asked:
>Is there a way to control this display of std-out?

Of course. Here is a command called SHWSTDOUT:

SHWSTDOUT:  CMD        PROMPT('Show STDOUT')

Here is the CPP called SHWSTDOUTC:

#include <stdio.h>
#include <qsnapi.h>

int main( int argc, char *argv[] )
{
    Qsn_Inp_Buf_T   ibuf = QsnCrtInpBuf( 128, 0, 0, NULL, NULL );
    Qsn_Ssn_T       ssn;

    ssn = _C_Get_Ssn_Handle();

    QsnStrWin( ssn, '0', NULL );
    for ( ;; )
    {
       QsnReadSsnDta( ssn, ibuf, NULL, NULL );
       if ( QsnRtvReadAID( ibuf, NULL, NULL ) == QSN_F3 )
         break;
    }
   return;
}

I used to have a version that displayed STDOUT in a nice little window but
that no longer works. Something has changed in the DSM APIs. If I get a
chance I'll see if I can fix it over the weekend.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
