I guess you're right although that change occurred a lot earlier didn't it?
I guess something wasn't switched 'til later.  But I thought that you
_could_ still issue an OVR to a C program.  Does that not work?  I've not
had cause to try it.

Absolutely - but it is not worth implementing them (compared with the
standard CGI APIs) just to add another debug option.  Besides I use CGIDEV2
anyway!

COBOL Accept/Display is native support without the need for the APIs so it
is a different situation.
