I must say that I agree with everything that Anton has said for my shop.
Especially getting at my iSeries data with incredible ease.

Because i do think that an iSeries as a web server is stable.

Because i can easily access my data and generate dynamic pages in good
performance. For static pages, an iSeries isn't necessary. But when you
have business data on it that you want to somehow access via web, the
iSeries as web server is the first choice.

New things = errors = PTF's. With web serving, it is very important to be
up to date with PTF's, because the new released things seem to be way more
buggy than the other parts of the licensed programs.

Because of the above.

this?

They are talking and trying to use the newest things available. They are
having a lot of troubles with it but that makes life easier for those who
follow them and apply the PTFs that arise due to their and others effort.
(Thanks!)

And being at V4R5, i love the stability of our web server!

That would be a perfect fit for iSeries running HTTP Server powered by
Apache.
