Well said!!!!!  Netscape actually wrote a blink routine for text.  What a load 
of dingo kidneys.  It's not a bug, it's a
feature!

Staying compliant to the industry (rather than an implementation) insures 
compatibility to the widest possible
platforms.  Anyone who chooses to support a platform (best viewed in Netscape 
or whatever) risks having to re-write
his/her UI every time a new thing is released.

I've made a career with "keeping it simple" and with "leveraging" 
(corporatespeak for stealing) any good ideas I can
find... It's why I monitor this mail list... *lots* of great ideas :-)
