Buck:

For what's worth, I deleted everything and started over (again). I still
get the same results. I can't create a WAR file out of WEBFacing because
it says the JDK is missing. When I go to the Add/Remove programs, it
shows that the "IBM Development Kit, Java 2 Tech Edition 1.2.2" is
installed. I believe this is in c:\Program Files\IBM\Java12". The class
path in the environment variables show "c:\wdt400\java" and this folder
is installed as well.

When I installed, I got a prompt saying that JAVA 1.2 was required and
it asked it I wanted to make this my default JVM. I answered yes.

My class path is relatively long but I wouldn't know what to remove.
Everything seems relevant.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

It comes with the converted application. Where to find it is dependent
upon
the version of the WebFacing tool you are running. Normally, it is in
the
exported directory tree. How did you export the application to Tomcat?
File System?

Another "it depends on the version" issue I think. There is a known
problem
regarding the PATH length during the install. I am guessing that you
are
using WDT 5.1. Now that VAJAVA is installed, check (and shorten?) the
PATH
length and re-install WDT. Make sure you install the latest service
pack!

I'm sorry if this seems vague. If this doesn't help, perhaps you could
try
the CODE400-L list or the WDSCI list hosted on http://www.midrange.com.
Hit
the archives first; I recall other folks having an issue with the PATH
length.
