Never mind, I think I have it figured out. I wasn't making the connection
correctly.

Thanks,

Subject: [WEB400] Socket connection to Servlet

I am trying to make a socket connection from an RPG program to a Java
Servlet that I have running on an AS/400 using the non-IBM Tomcat server.
When I use my browser to access the Servlet it returns the desired output,
but when I use sockets from within an RPG program accessing the same URL I
get the following:

HTTP/1.1 400 No Host matches server name localhostContent-Type:
text/htmlCon
nection: closeDate: Fri, 11 Oct 2002 14:00:48 GMTServer: Apache
Tomcat/4.0.4
 (HTTP/1.1 Connector)

If I try and access an RPG CGI program on the same AS/400 with the same
socket program I get perfect results.

Does Tomcat not like socket connections?

Any help is much appreciated,
Aaron Bartell
