The RFCs are your best bet, sorry to say.  And we think IBM
docs are bad.  ;)  Try reading through the "PC/*nix World"
docs, faqs, RFCs, man pages, etc.  *shiver*

You may want to use (my favorite resource) groups.google.com
as there are usually quite a few "examples" there.  Most of
the header stuff is quite simple... just:

ID: Value

stuff.  Why not ask here what your specific question in.
