Hey all,

I am soliciting suggestions for preventing a user from doubleclicking an
RPG-CGI link in a web application.

Most of the time this isn't a problem, the function performed is not
critical, and can be done twice without harm, but in a couple instances, a
major update is performed (records deleted and rebuilt), and the two jobs
generated are bumping heads, causing problems.

I can change the offending CGI to lock the user's record in my 'session'
file, but I was just wondering how others handled this problem.

If you have one, a browser based solution (javascript) would be ideal -
this is an intranet application and all users have IE 5.0 or above.

Please, no java solutions at this time.

thanks,

rick
