Yes.  If you edit the DDS in the CODE Designer, there is a tab that appears
in the bottom part of the window that says "Web settings" or something of
that nature.  If you select that then when you subsequently select a field
in the main display area, you can change the characteristics of how that
field is treated when shown in the browser.  Anything from "not visible" to
making it a hot link, to making it a selection list or radio button, to
supplying your own unique HTML (which can reference the content of this or
other fields) etc. etc.

The Labs that IBM supplies on the WDSc web pages take you through this stuff
as does the WDSc  Redbook.
