Bonnie,
You might check if you're using the files from the IFS or from something
like QDLS, or QOpenSys. Some of those directories/file systems are
case-sensitive, so the names in the URL must match the lettercase of the
directory and file names.

Thanks, but I don't think this is the problem because the graphic files
that display on the page, both jpg and gif, are in the same directory as
the two that don't-one is a jpg and the other is a gif.  When I set up
the Apache server, I went with the default settings to start with.  I'll
change what I need to change as I learn more about it.

Apache has something called "directory and file contexts" which can can
