X-Mailer can be anything you want it to be. I like "Phil's E-mail
program???" including the question marks, adds a level of uncertainty <G>

Seriously, you say you "want to add" the header, why? The answer to that
question may dictate the value to use. Is it to identify the e-mail as being
from your web order entry system, perhaps "Web Order Entry" makes sense. Or
is it so you can tell it apart from messages from Exchange or Lotus, in
which case "iSeries" makes sense. Or do you want to include a version number
so you know which version of the mailer is being used, in which case "Phil
Version 2.312" makes sense.

Subject: [WEB400] X-Mailer

All,

I have been using the QtmmSendMail api for a long time. Now I want to add
an
X-Mailer header. What should it be? OS400? QtmmSendMail?? Phil's E-mail
program???

Thanks for your suggestions!

Phil
