[WEB400] SUBMIT button vs an image

Hi!

I want to do some data validations before updating a file on the AS400.  I have
this:

The button SUBMIT works great to activate the form and do everything else.  I
want to replace the "button" image with an "OK" image that I have and that is
why I have the javascript there.  The image is called OK.GIF.  My problem is
that is not doing what I want to accomplish.

What I am missing?
