What I want to do is to put some kind of "goto" in that last block of code so that the remaining HTML is not executed. In other words... I don't want the "Welcome Friend" text to be displayed in this example.

Any ideas? Window.close won't work becuase it's too easy for the user to just avoid closing teh window.

This is probably better handled on the server. A few magical incantations in your Apache configuration should set you up. Look up the Apache module mod_rewrite and the RewriteCond and RewriteRule directives.

But a more fundamental issue is that the HTTP_REFERER attribute may not be set. Or if it is, it may not be accurate. And if someone really wants to visit your site and knows that it can't be reached from some particular site, the visitor can just type the URL directly into his browser anyways.
