Java could do this, but not over SNA (at least I don't think you could do it
over SNA).

That might be a good idea for a utility:-)

Subject: [WEB400] how to access IFS over SNA?

Does anyone know if there is a way to expose a directory of files on the IFS
to another AS/400 using SNA?
Without using a file transfer method like SNDNETF.
Without starting TCP over SNA.
I am investigating doing this with DDM now, DDM does not seem to work on
stream files?

Goal:

Server1:
http://server1/myifs/myfile.jpg

server2: remote system IFS directory connected/mounted to server1 using DDM
http://server1/yourDDMF
or
http://server1/yourDDMDIR/yourfile.jpg
