So you want to send a request to the server, handle the answer in
JavaScript, and if you like it, send the "real" request to the server?

Nope, that will not work. In this case you have to check it on the
server, if you *really* need the very latest contents of the record.
You could still have an JavaScript alert pop at the user telling him
what (s)he has done wrong. It's all a question of timing.

Forget about JavaScript and do it all in Net.Data on the server. But
that's only me and my 0.02 Euro.
