Thanks to http://archive.midrange.com/web400/200302/msg00015.html, I discovered
that my ADMIN and ADMINORIG members were switched! Isn't it amazing how quickly
you can solve a problem once you take the time to type it all up and post it to
the world?

        Also, in QSYSOPR I see:

        Unknown command line option -c.
        Unknown command line option Listen.
        Unknown command line option 2001.

        All TCP7420.

Didn't one of those jobs used to go JVAW for a while at startup?

                Friends,

I've just received my new 170-2292. I initialized the system
installed the LIC, OS, and LPPs. I also installed c3175 and SF99156-16.

I went several rounds with 5722DG1. After installing the cume
package, the *ADMIN server failed to start. My symptoms matched this thread for
which no solution was documented:
http://archive.midrange.com/java400-l/200303/msg00139.html. After removing and
reinstalling DG1 the problem "went away." I've reinstalled the cume and group
since and it now continues to work. (Am I supposed to have something besides
*BASE?)

Well, sort of. And that's the problem. I've got...

                QHTTPSVR QSYS SBS .0 DEQW
ADMIN QTMHHTTP BCH .2 PGM-QZHBHTTP CNDW
ADMIN QTMHHTTP BCI .0 PGM-QZHBHJOB TIMW
ADMIN QTMHHTTP BCI .0 PGM-QYUNLANG TIMW
ADMIN QTMHHTTP BCI .0 PGM-QZHBHJOB TIMW
ADMIN QTMHHTTP BCI .0 PGM-QZHBHJOB TIMW

...running now. Pointing a browser to http://dart:2001 now gets
me a sign on window and to the "AS/400 Tasks" page, although the "Configure the
IBM IPP Server" picture fails to appear. Clicking on "IBM HTTP Server for
AS/400" gets me a 403-Forbidden for http://dart:2001/HTTPAdmin. These screens
really don't look current, but I have nothing to compare them to to say for
certain.

There was some mention in another thread about properly
populating the TCP/IP domain information. That information is in place.

If I try to WRKHTTPCFG *ADMIN, I get HTPA105: "Unable to update
server configuration ADMIN." I'm signed on as QSECOFR.

I'm really not sure where to go from here. I'm not familiar
with the underlying system files where it keeps track of instaces so I need to
get this thing working. Any ideas?

                Regards,
                Zak Metz
