Many thanks - that works fine. Too simple if you know how!

One minor problem is that if the page is displayed with the initial popup, and then I do alt+tab to go to another window and then come back, the popup is no longer there. Not vital, but is there a way to correct this?

Once again, many thanks.

Rob,

You do not actually have to use the onLoad. After the </BODY> tag put the
javascript. It will automatically execute at the end of the load.

Example:

</body>
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!--
 showMessage();
//-->
</SCRIPT>
</html>
