Hi,

I only access remote iSeries databases, but you would set up the
remote database in your remote database directory (WRKRDBDIRE) and
then use these variables to access it:

%DEFINE {

 DATABASE       = "LINUXDB"
 LOGIN          = "myuserid"
 PASSWORD       = "mypasswd"

%}

You can change DATABASE back to its default *LOCAL later on or to
another name of the RDBDIR with @DTW_ASSIGN to access multiple
databases in one macro.

The problem might be to enable something DRDA on Linux.

Tell us how it works out!
