This looks like a file created by InfoPrint Server. You can get the exact
name of the PDF that was created using a data queue specified on the PSFCFG
object. For every PDF that gets created, an entry is sent to the data
queue. You can use a program to snag the PDF path name from the data queue
entry, and then run the MOV command. The layout for the data queue is in
appendix E of the iSeries Printing VI Redbook (SG24-6250). I wrote a small
log file processing program to grab extra spool file attributes (who, what,
where) and it works great.

Good Luck.

Their way of naming it unique.

I was recently testing this.
You can programatically determine the name it will be,
I *CAT it all together (including the leading working folders) and I,
MOV
OBJ(/myfolder/morenumbers/morenumbers/411908_000006_MYPGM£_26052004_000001.P
DF) TOOBJ(&friendly)
MONMSG CPFA0A9 (DO)
Wait 30 secs. then loop
=======================
First I tried the MAILTAG method that changes the parameter that makes the
spool get emailed directly from infoprint.
It created a computer generated message in the body and did not seem like it
would go over too well with ANYONE!
and seemed extremely limited. One recipient?
embedding AFP tags seemed too involved for this simple task and changing
each spool file.

I found with a low end CPU InfoPrint it was a lot faster than a particular
Java based conversion.

I fully expect a multiuser solution to work with the simple MOV & monmsgs
followed by the send mail.
