I managed to get the JS Calendar tool to work using the example in the,
"Understanding the IBM WebFacing Tool", but not without a lot of trial and
error. Eventually what I discovered is that they changed the calendar tool
interface so that the script logic from the book won't work. The solution
I eventually went with was to load (and use) the "original" version of JS
Calendar (version 0.9.2-1). Following the example in the book with this
version should work fine.

If anyone figured out how to use the "latest and greatest" version let me
know (just in case I ever want to imbed a calendar on a page).

 Subject: [WEB400] Webfacing Javascript
          Calendar

I noticed a couple of posts in the archive about using a Calendar in a
Webfaced app. Has anyone got this to work?
I tired following the example in "Understanding the IBM WebFacing Tool" but
cant get it to work. I then tried the example that came with the software
and I can get it to work on just a HTML page, but in the JSP I get
Calendar._TT.DEF_DATE_FORMAT is null or not an object.

I am trying to use JS Calendar from http://dynarch.com/mishoo/calendar.epl
just like the book uses.

Thanks

Chris Beck
