There is only one way to have them make changes, that is to ask via a
bug report. There is a package that someone has put together to
install all of these plugins. Here
(http://www.koldark.net/archives/2004/08/17/seeking_help.php) is where
I briefly talk about it. If this guy can perfect it, then maybe he can
submit a "patch" to have this included in the installer. However, the
goal of Firefox is to create a small delivered package. At a little
over 4 MB that is great! The more that gets added in the bigger it
gets. However, there are "other" projects that are creating a more
well rounded package that includes things like this.

Personally I like the "build your own browser" approach. They give you
the base, you add what you want from there.
