Still drumming... <G>

Keep at it please - having read the rest of your post below, I clearly still need it!

You're loading session with:

session=(document.getElementById('SESSION').value);

However, look at the definition of the session input tag:

<input type="hidden" name="SESSION" value="/3EAC243C8F038D11/4FD9C6F3">

See a problem?

Yes and I have fixed it.

Thanks to your help and persistence, I have now got onMouseOver and onDblClick to work, and doubleclick submits the form correctly in NS, Firefox and IE.

Whereas NS yesterday was complaining that

document.getElementsByName(buttonname)[0] has no properties

that now seems to be fixed (I have no idea how!) Today NS is complaining that

document.getElementsByName(buttons2)[0] has no properties

At least it is different, but I still cannot change the button names in NS. However, thanks to the kindness of you and Joe, I have achieved my
main objective of being able to double click and submit the form, so I am now going to read my books and see if I can find a solution to the button problem by myself. So, for the time being at least, I hope to leave you in peace!

I really appreciate all the time that you both have spent on this.

Very many thanks

Rob
