Well, It depends. Do you want both servers active while you do testing. If the anser is no, then yes shutdown the old one and start Apache. If the anser is yes, then setup Apache to listen/bind is a non standard port like 8080 instead of 80. Or possiably a second IP address if you have the system multi-homed. http://httpd.apache.org/docs/bind.html JMS... Thank Jeff. Our plan is to only have one run at a time, so I've just modified a webstart program we have on the job scheduler to start the new Apache server instead of the old DEFAULT one.
