We are currently using htpp server to service on our web application. we
are in the process of moving this instance to apache

Currently the main cgi program is an RPG program, where one of there is a
line of code that returns the port number of the requesting job
eg. Eval S_Port=getenv('SERVER_PORT':qusec)

The above line returns the right port number "1025".

However, when running the same cgi using the newly created apache server,
the said command returns only "10bb" where bb are blank characters. I am
buffled (probably because we are new to Apache).

Does anyone now get the environment variable for port?

much appreciated.
