I am attempting to install PHP on our V5R2 box. While configuring PHP, I received an error: libz not found. My understanding is that this is a result of zlib not being installed. I downloaded zlib and tar -xvf from /QOpenSys/srcpkgs. I ran ./configure and then make test. Make test failed. Messages appear that it can not find file standards.h. Perhaps I need additional parameter for ./configure? I have scoured the net attempting to resolve this. Any assistance in appreciated.
