I have to agree with Barry, I won't buy, or donate anything unless I see a
reliable pay service. I maybe the Paranoid exception, but if no pay service
is listed(***and never tells the customer what provider did the
authorization**) , I
would wonder who is has access to my information.

I generally feel better and am more apt to buy or donate if I see one of
the following:

I am not sure how this would be implemented with the iSeries besides
installing PHP which has the native ability....With my playing around with
PHP, there is widget code and full solutions available which does the
backend processing of payments with what ever provider you choose.

Most of the solutions show the status of the payment after processing and
never tells the customer what provider did the authorization.

"Peter,

Before making the change I would suggest that you consider the other side
of the equation. The people making the donations and their comfort level
with making a donation through another provider.

I know that when I am making a donation and it is through a provider that
I don't recognize, I will think twice before doing so. After all, I am
being
asked to send my personal information to an outfit that I don't know.

Paypal I know and so do a lot of other people. You may be better off with
the fees rather than no donations at all.

You also have a point there Kevin... a very important one.

Thanks!
