Mark,

The very first line that you need to send back is the content-type header.
If you send back anything else first, you'll get a 500 error.

I should have been more specific. The hard coded version worked. The CGI
program did not. It was because I was missing 'type="text/Javascript" '.
But it still doesn't help. I'm trying to develop an iterface to allow
documents to be opened by users that do not have the IFS authority to open
the document. I'm trying to use the QSYSETPT API, but it seems that the CGI
program doesn't actaully open the document. It' builds it, then, I'm
assuming, it hands it off another process.

Any suggestions?

One is "dynamic" and one is static.

But, since you're hardcoding the URL, they're both pretty
similar in that sense.

If the URL can change depending different circumstances,
then the 2nd method would be the way to go.
