I think you're right, Karl.  I am not a fanatic about JSP Model II.  I
just believe that it's the best architecture from a purely technical
standpoint.  But the final decision should always be a business
decision: what aer my options, and which is the best for the company?
Even that is subject to debate: is best for the company best for 90
days, a year, or ten years?  That too depends on decisions larger than
technology.

But if you're dead set against Java, then by all means use RPG-CGI.
There are lots of great tools out there.
