We are about to start developing a lot of web applications using a
combination of tools. RPG CGI, BCD WebSmart, Jsp and Java. We are
currently planning on using Tomcat for application serving. We are
trying to come up with some naming conventions and library/directory
structure for all the objects that will be needed. (HTML, JSP, Java
objects, RPG, CL, etc). We have a fairly good idea on how to deal with
the libraries and RPG naming since we have been doing that for many
years, its the other objects and IFS directories that we are not sure
now to structure. We will have 4 "classes" of applications, public,
student only, employee only, and development that we plan on having
different security needs and will have libraries for each type of
application when using CGI.

I would be interested in hearing how others have setup their naming
conventions when using an iSeries for web applications.
