The problem with comparing newer versions of ASP with
newer versions of RPG is the backward compatibility
difference.  In other words, ASP under .Net is not
backward compatible with earlier versions.  There are
perhaps more dissimilarities between ASP and ASP .Net
than similarities.  Microsoft has a history of
re-inventing its underlying infrastructure every
several years or so.
