You can show a pdf directly by streaming the content into a html page.

Like this:

// convert the tiff to pdf
Tiff2PDF .......

// Get the PDF document from ifs
FileDescI = open(%trimr('/home/costagliol/184052.pdf') :
            O_RDONLY);
Dou nByteRead <= 0;
  nByteRead = read(FileDescI : bufferIp : nByteSet);
  inputLng += nByteRead;
Enddo;

// write document to cgi
Header = 'Content-Type: application/pdf' + newline +
         'Content-Length: ' + %trim(%char(inputLng)) + newline +
         'Content-Disposition: inline; filename=a.pdf'  +
         newline + newline;
QtmhWrStout (Header:%len(%trim(Header)):ApiError);
QtmhWrStout (BufferI:inputLng:ApiError);
